Talk to ChatGPT Like Never Before NEW UPDATE
A few days ago, OpenAI launched an advanced voice model for premium ChatGPT users.
And this isn’t just a simple update…
Now, conversations with ChatGPT feel like you’re talking to a real person. Sometimes, it’s even a bit scary because of how close it is to reality.
What’s new?
- Huge improvements in the text-to-speech (TTS) model, allowing for natural voice conversations, and you can even interrupt it like you would in a normal human conversation.
- 9 different voices to choose from!
- An improved user interface that makes the experience more intuitive and comfortable.
What can you do with this new model?
So much that my mind is about to explode, but I’ll give you 3 simple ideas to get started:
- Simulate conversations on any topic:
Want to practice for an important meeting, sales call, or job interview? Ask ChatGPT to run a voice simulation with you. You can request it to speak in a professional tone, be persuasive, or even act as a difficult customer… and you’ll be prepared in the best way possible. - Brainstorm ideas:
Got a new idea and want to test it? Ask ChatGPT to read your idea aloud with specific tones so you can see how it would sound in real life. It’s like getting vocal feedback on your ideas! - Language learning conversations:
Want to improve your English or any other language? Ask ChatGPT to converse with you in a foreign language, adjusting the tone to your level – perfect for beginners and advanced learners. - Explaining topics to children:
Need to explain a complex concept to a child? Let ChatGPT explain it in a simple and light manner, as if speaking to a six-year-old.
Personally, I often have it talk to my little child, and they’ve even become friends!
The surprise?
It doesn’t just speak… it speaks exactly as you ask it to. You can request it to speak in a specific accent, explain something in an angry tone, a calm one, or even as if it’s inhaled helium.
I’ve tried many things, and the results were amazing.
Looking ahead:
Take this incredible voice model, the AI-powered “mind,” its astonishing understanding capabilities, and combine them with the vision abilities that have become available in ChatGPT (the ability to “see” and understand images)…
Then put all of this in a functional metal box – and now you have a genius robot!
Get used to the idea, because in a year or two, we will start seeing these new kinds of robots entering our daily lives.
Remember the term AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) – we’re not far from it!
